In Tibetan Buddhism, the elephant-headed deity Ganesh, or Ganesha in Hinduism, is revered as the remover of obstacles. While not a central figure in traditional Buddhism, Ganesh's symbolism of overcoming hindrances is sometimes incorporated into Buddhist practices, especially in regions where Hindu and Buddhist cultures have intersected.  The elephant is associated with royalty and nobility. This symbolism reflects qualities such as dignity, grace, and power.  Combined with powerful yantra to attract prosperity, displaying this image in ones house is said to bring harmony and good luck.

The original from which this image was photographed was prepared by the Ngakpa, Lama Dawa Chhodak Rinpoche.

Size: 10 in. X 8 in.
